Fauna is a member of Hololive EN gen 2. She has famously claimed that she “never wears pants”. She was an independent vtuber before accepted into Hololive. She started out somewhat weaker than others but has grown to be one of the most popular Hololive EN members.

Personality & Activities

Fauna is, in a sense, the English version of Korone. She is also a pot of boiling positivity but with a more mature voice and mannerism. In fact, her voice is probably the reason she has become a vtuber in the first place. Her former identity prior joining Hololive is one of the worst kept secrets. She used to have a youtube channel specializing in ASMR videos with her heavenly voice. She carries on the same activity as a member of Hololive but with a far more focus on gaming.

She is probably the best communicator among Hololive EN members because she makes it clear to her viewers when she is going away. She does take occasional breaks. Outside such breaks, which last around 1 ~ 3 weeks, she streams once every 2 or 3 days.

While I do not know why, she is oddly fond of Hitman series, and it’s probably a game she has spent the most hours with. Her favorite weapon(?) in Hitman is the banana. Anyway, her streams attract around 5k to 13k live viewers which sits on the higher end of spectrum among EN members.

Personal comment

She is often quite awkward with making funs which is actually her charm. She is really bad at making jokes which in turn becomes comedy on its own. “Did that come out wrong?” “Did I make a mistake?” are her common phases when making jokes.

She is an ASMR specialist as mentioned above. While I don’t get the charm of listening to ASMR videos, I do admit that her voice is meant for that sort of activity. A sexy mother is the image she portrays. And she plays her character really well in addition. Like Korone, she never complains, never swears, and never gets angry.

Her maturity, odd charms, and good communication skills mean, for me, that the more I watched her streams, the more I liked her. When I was just diving into the Hololive universe, I rarely paid attention to her streams because her streams didn’t seem interesting enough. I was wrong, though. She really grows on you.
