Photography: Rabbit in mud
When I make a diorama, I generally do a photograph project out of it. Since I’ve just finished a diorama, Rabbit in mud, it’s only natural that I’ve done this.
If you have no idea which diorama project I am talking about, click HERE for its build blog.
Originally, I was going to do this photo in noon light setting. As I was finalizing the photo in photoshop, it came to me that, given the situation, sunset environment was probably better.
A tank gets stuck in middle of a training session. Depending on location, it could takes hours before a vehicle capable of dragging a tank out could arrive. If the tank gets stuck afternoon, their rescue could easily occur in evening.
Perhaps more importantly, I simply felt that sunset environment would make it cozier overall.
Now, there are several ways to do sunset scenes. One can use photoshop to filter and alter color balance / temperature. Another way is using a physical color filter. Personally, I prefer the latter.
This was the vision I had when I purchased Platz GuP Rabbit team cast kit back in June. I am glad I was able to make it alive.
You know, I wish I were there. Such a life would be hella fun. But then anime is, well, anime. We can still dream though.
That is all for this diorama. Cya.
